Tragic Collision Claims Lives and Leaves Others Critical in Bolangir Road Mishap

A tragic accident near Fuguda Square on the Bangomunda-Bhalumunda road in Bolangir claimed two lives and left two others in critical condition when a speeding truck collided head-on with a Bolero. The collision was so severe that both vehicles were extensively damaged. The victims, identified as Kishore Das and Lingaraj Saraf, lost their lives on the spot. The injured individuals were promptly transported to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
The incident occurred as the four occupants were traveling from Gaisilat to Sinapali in a Bolero, while the truck, speeding from Raipur to Bangomunda, collided with them. Passers-by promptly alerted local law enforcement and fire brigade teams, who rescued and transported the injured individuals to the hospital. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, prompting the police to initiate a search for the absconding driver. A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
