Anticipating Bali Yatra: A Glimpse into Cuttack’s Historic Trade Fair

The Cuttack district administration and Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) are actively preparing to host the historic Bali Yatra festival, set to take place in the Millennium City from November 27 to December 4. In a recent preparatory meeting led by Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani and attended by high-ranking officials, the focus was on ensuring a smooth and secure experience for the multitude of visitors this event attracts. Notably, this year, there will be an increased number of ORMAS stalls, and a special effort will be made to present the rural aspects of Cuttack in a dedicated area. Bali Yatra is an annual event in Cuttack that celebrates the rich maritime traditions of ancient Odia traders.
