Senior IAS Officer V Kartikeya Pandian Takes Voluntary Retirement, Approved by Competent Authority
1 min readSenior IAS officer V Kartikeya Pandian has opted for voluntary retirement, which has been duly approved by the competent authority. The Department of Personnel & Training, operating under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, released a letter confirming this retirement. In this letter addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration & PG Department in the Government of Odisha, it was stated, “In reference to No.GAD-SER1-PERS-0100-2014 dated 20.10.2023 from the Government of Odisha on the above-mentioned subject, I am directed to convey the approval of the competent authority for the acceptance of the voluntary retirement of Shri V Kartikeya Pandian, IAS(OD-2000) under Rule 16(2A) of All India Services (Death-cum-Retirement benefits) Rules, 1958, with a waiver of the notice period as recommended by the State Government.” This letter has been signed by Bhupinder Pal Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India. Prior to his retirement, Pandian held the position of Secretary to CM(5T).
