Intense Rivalry at Khudurukuni Osha Festival Leads to Tragic Bomb Blast, Leaving Three in Critical Condition in Odisha Village
Cuttack: A shocking incident unfolded during the Khudurukuni Osha festival in Bishnupur village, situated within Tigiria police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Sunday, leaving three individuals critically injured in a bomb blast.
The unfortunate incident was triggered by escalating tensions between two rival factions, stemming from disputes over the Khudurukuni Osha festival celebrations the previous night. In the midst of this rivalry, one group resorted to hurling crude bombs at the other, resulting in serious injuries to three individuals in Bishnupur village. There have been unconfirmed reports suggesting that gunfire may have also occurred during this confrontation.
The three victims, identified as Srinivas Samal, Nilia Raut, and Sagar Gochi, were initially rushed to the Tigiria Community Health Center. However, due to their deteriorating conditions, they were subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital, as reported by Tigiria police.
