Eight Candidates Allocated to IAS Cadres in Odisha, Diverse Origins Highlighted

In the latest allocation of IAS cadres, the Department of Personnel and Training of the Government of India has designated eight candidates to serve in the state of Odisha. Among these eight individuals, only three are native to Odisha, while the remaining five hail from different states across the country.

The allocation of cadres comes as a result of the 2022 Civil Services Examination (CSE), conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Out of the 179 successful candidates, eight will now contribute their services to Odisha.

The recipients of the Odisha cadre include Preksha Agrawal (30th rank) from Uttar Pradesh, Pranita Dash (42nd rank) and Tejaswini Behera (516th rank), both from Odisha. Additionally, Kasturi Panda (67th rank), Yimkum I Ozukam (203rd rank), Dudhal Akhishek Dilip (278th rank), Ashni A L (328th rank), and C Saravanan (487th rank) have been assigned to Odisha, representing Nagaland, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, respectively.

It’s worth noting that Durga Prasad Adhikary (162nd rank) and Sushree Suvangi Khuntia (248th rank), both from Odisha, have been allocated to serve in the cadres of Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu. This cadre allocation marks a significant step in the careers of these promising civil servants as they embark on their roles in various administrative capacities in Odisha and beyond.
