75th Territorial Army Day 2023: Inspiring Motor Bike Rally and Community Engagement

On the occasion of the 75th Territorial Army Day in 2023, a memorable Motor Bike Rally was organized. This event was a part of the celebrations for the 75th Raising Day of the Territorial Army and was jointly conducted by two TA Battalions stationed in Prayagraj: the 111 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) KUMAON and the 137 CETF Battalion (Territorial Army) 39 Gorkha Rifle.
The rally began at New Cantt, Prayagraj, and culminated at Chak Ghat, Rewa. Its primary goal was to showcase the significant contribution of the Territorial Army to national development. Over 30 riders from various TA units covered a distance of over 100 kilometers during this expedition. Along the way, they visited several schools to raise awareness about the role of the Territorial Army and inspire young people to consider a career in the Indian Army to serve the nation.
This event also served as an opportunity to encourage students to actively participate in the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ (Clean India Mission) and contribute to the nation’s goal of achieving a clean and green environment. As part of the celebration, a blood donation camp and an elocution contest will be held at MH & Army Public School, Prayagraj, on October 4th and 5th, 2023.
