AS “Operation Kaveri” continued to evacuate the Indians stranded in the war-hit country Sudan, another batch of evacuees with 135 passengers onboard an IAF C-130J flight departed from Port Sudan for Jeddah.
This is the 10th such batch of evacuees to take its citizens from Sudan.
On Thursday, an Indian Air Force (AIF) plane carrying 246 Indians evacuated from Sudan, landed in Mumbai. With this over 600 people arrived in India safely. The first batch of 360 Indians evacuated from Sudan reached Delhi on Wednesday.
