The Unit-II Market Building in Bhubaneswar was on Sunday closed for indefinite period following a scuffle between makeshift shopkeepers and owners of permanent shops.
A scuffle reportedly broke out between the street vendors and members of the traders’ association.
According to reports, a scuffle erupted between the two groups as several street vendors attempted to set up stalls in the market while the traders’ association members opposed it.
The market building traders association members alleged that they were assaulted by the street vendors.
After getting information, officials from the Capital police station rushed to the spot.
