The Orissa High Court on Thursday allowed Odisha government to resume the process of recruiting 11,403 teachers in secondary schools.
The court withdrew the stay order it had issued earlier on May 19 and rejected all petitions filed challenging the recruitment process.
According to the petition, the Director of Secondary Education had notified on December 23, 2021 for recruitment of 11,403 teachers in secondary schools across the state.
The was decided to fill the vacancies by recruiting Trained Graduate Teachers ( TGTs) in Arts and Science, Hindi teachers, Sanskrit teachers and Physical Education Teacher (PET) through Computer Based Test (CBT).
However, several petitions were filed in the High Court after the completion of the recruitment process.
