The 11-year-old Rahul Sahu who has got trapped in a 60-ft deep bore well in Pihrid village of Malkharoda block in Janjgir Champa district of Chattisgarh is responding to the gestures of the rescue teams.
Rahul is responding to our gestures by waving hands and the team is very close to him, said a senior official who is overseeing the operation.
The district administration has claimed that they will be able to rescue the child very soon and his health condition is better now.
“The rescue operation is underway for 80 hours till now but very soon we will be able to rescue Rahul. His health condition is better now. CM Bhupesh Baghel is continuously monitoring the situation via video cal,” said Collector Janjgir, Jitendra Shukla.
Around 150 officials equipped with robots and other resources have been deployed for the rescue operation.
