Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch has recovered huge cache of brown sugar in Bhubaneswar from the possession of three youths.
Sources said the a team of the STF got inputs regarding brown sugar trafficking in the morning. After getting specific information regarding the moments of the peddlers, the team kept vigil on the Bhuabneswar- Puri highway. Meanwhile, three members of a brown sugar racket was intercepted from whom the contraband worth around Rs 5 crore was recovered.
Following this, an NDPS case was registered in this connection and the offenders were forwarded to court.
