A day after Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi was tested positive for COVID-19, All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Friday confirmed that she too has contracted the virus.
Priyanka took to her official Instagram handle and said that though she has mild symptoms as of now, she has isolated herself.
“I’ve tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms. Following all the protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. I would request those who came in contact with me to take all necessary precautions.” Priyanka said in her tweet.
Sonia Gandhi, who has been asked to appear before the ED on June 8 in the National Herald case, had tested COVID-19 positive on Thursday.
