Four people have been arrested in connection with the robbery and money laundering in Rampur police station area.

Subarnapur, 10/05-(Akshaya Pujahari): Rampur police have arrested four people in connection with a robbery and looting of money near Saras Mal School under Rampur police station on March 3.

According to sources, Mukesh Agrawala, a businessman from Bargarh, had sent driver Sanjit Thandi and salesman Yuvraj Barik to Rampur and Binika Pat in Subarnapur district on February 2 for business. While the two were returning from business and collecting money, four unidentified men approached Saras Mal School under Rampur police station in a car, stopped their vehicle and intimidated them.
Later, both of them came to Bargarh and told their owner Mukesh Agrawal about the incident. Mukesh came to the Rampur police station and lodged a written complaint.

A case was registered in the Rampur police station on 43/3/5/22 and the incident was being investigated.
Padma Bahadur, 42, of Bargarh Tora Suta Kal, Ashish Ranjan Mahananda, 24, Ram Das, 23, and Niroj Haripal, 25, of Bargarh town, were arrested in connection with the incident. R, 2 mobile phones and SIM and used Artiga car number OD 15 K 9889 were seized.
