The district magistrate’s public hearing camp was held in the Narsinghpur block on Monday. However, there was widespread outrage at the district commissioner’s absence from the district attorney’s office. Additional District Magistrate Bijay Kumar Khandayat Ray presided over the Narsinghpur Block Tourism Interpretation Center.

District Welfare Officer Madhusmita Mohapatra, District Child Protection Officer Pragati Mohanty, Narsinghpur Block Chairman Sasmita Jena, BDO Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Tahsildar Alok Ranjan Dehuri, among others were present.
At this public hearing camp
A total of 219 complaints, including 8 collective 82 miscellaneous allowances and 130 other complaints, were settled, of which 16 were immediate relief. Additional District Magistrate Shri Rautaray directed them to provide allowances while the chairs were provided.
The camp was attended by all district and block level officials.
The district attorney’s office said in a statement that the district attorney’s office was “in a state of disarray.”
