09/05 (Bhubaneswar) – BJD supremo Shri Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Mrs. Alka Mohanty, the wife of the late Kishore Mohanty, a leading leader of West Odisha, on his election as the BJD’s candidate for the Brajraj Nagar by-election.
From the time of the late Mohanty Biju Babu to the present Naveen Babu, he also played a leading role in the organizational structure of the party. Under the late Biju Patnaik, MLA Mishra was the state president of the Biju Janata Dal, while the late Mohanty was one of the vice-presidents and played a significant role in organizing the youth of western Odisha.
