Raigad-07 / 05- (Dhaneshwar Raut) -Rayagad District Vishwa Hindu Parishad has expressed concern over the security of the temple in Puri. The state government has issued a petition urging the state government to refrain from digging in the name of corridors around the temple.
The demand letter was handed over to Raigarh District Magistrate Saroj Kumar Mishra on behalf of Governor Prof Ganesh Lal, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and President Ramnath Kobind. He claims that the Oriyas have been worshiped for more than 1,000 years and that Ajibi is one of the four major temples in India. “The rescue squad wasn’t called for him,” she told the Associated Press.
According to the petition, the construction of the corridor has led to the construction of multi-storey buildings on the wall, which is a threat to the security of the temple, and the excavation of the temple must be stopped. The Archaeological Survey of the Central Government has denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating “Similar, baseless allegations concerning Odisha’s archeology have been made more than once. The delegation consisted of Vishwa Hindu District President Gaur Chandra Nayak, Western Province President Praful Kumar Patra, Deepak Kumar Raut, Vijay Chowdhury, Prabhat Kumar Mohapatra and Ramchandra Sahu.
