Estimated wind speeds change: According to ECMWF model 4, the storm is likely to hit the West Bengal coast, not Odisha.
Windy’s European ECMWF model 4 has changed wind speed estimates. Yesterday, there was a possibility of strong winds off the coast of Odisha. Today the ECMWF shows that it will hit the coast of West Bengal.
Today, the European ECMWF model is forecasting a storm in the Ganges. The US GFS model, meanwhile, is expected to hit the Andhra Pradesh coast. The IMD has not yet commented on possible storms.
