On the occasion of the 174th birth anniversary of Madhusudan Das, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inaugurated Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Museum and Interpretation Centre at the birthplace of the legend.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Madhu Babu was a symbol of Odia’s self-respect.
Attending the event through video conferencing, the Chief Minister paid homage to Utkal Gaurav and said that Satyavamapur is a pilgrimage site for all Oriyas.
He said the museum would continue to inspire everyone, especially the younger generation, to protect dignity of Odias.
Informing that Satyabhamapur is being developed as a model village, the Chief Minister said that the government would continue its efforts to make the village an important tourist destination.
