The Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee (SJTA) in a meeting today approved the annual budget of Rs 248 crore for the financial year 2022-23.

The budget was presented in a meeting held by SJTA last Friday.

As per reports, the meeting was chaired by Puri Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb, during which the revised expenditure estimate for the 2021-22 financial year and the budget for the 2022-23 financial year was discussed.

Meanwhile, commenting on the Jagannath Temple’s Heritage Corridor project, Gajapati Dibyasingha Deb said that everyone should come together to build the Heritage Corridor project around the temple.

“Mahaprabhu’s work is everyone’s work. It’s not the work of any individual, or of any party or any government. It’s the work of all devotees of the Mahaprabhu. We should all participate in it and should do it unitedly,” said Deb.

“No one should oppose or create obstruction against the construction of the Heritage Corridor project and any prevailing dispute should be resolved as soon as possible,” he added.
