Adivasi Mela, National Tribal Art and Craft Exhibition inaugurated

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated Adivasi Mela and the National Tribal Art and Craft Exhibition. This mela will continue up to May 2 from 3.30 PM to 9.30 PM.

The main objective of the Adivasl Mela and national Tribal Art & craft exhibition is about promotion and celebration of the traditions and handicraft of the tribes of India. The fair showcases the colorful tribal art and craft, forest and tribal produces, along with stage performance of tribal dances every evening. A total of 187 stalls have come up for both Adivasl Mela and National Tribal Art & Craft Exhibition.

In National Tribal Art & Craft Exhibition segment, apart from Odisha, 17 other states have participated to showcase their rich art and craft tradition. The annual Adivasl Mela provides all facilities including fast-aid, ambulance and ATM services at the venue. It also ensures safety security measures for the visitors and participants with insurance coverage.
