Congress leaders have raised questions on the fate of Mamita Meher murder case  as senior  Congress leader Narasingha Mishra and his son  are going to deal with it.

Narasingha Mishra has been fighting to provide justice to Mamita’s family  as a powered advocate while his son Amarendra has been recently appointed as the Special Public  Prosecutor in the same court.

Congress Legislator,  Adhiraj Panigrahi said that Narasingha had appeared in the Court on behalf of Mamita’s family, with an advocate’s  apron and collar. His sole aim was to convict the prime accused  of Mamita murder case, Govinda Sahu and to plead stern punishment to him.

His son’s appointment as the Special PP may intervene or dilute the conviction process so that Mamita’s family will not get due justice from the Court.

Responding to such speculations, Narasingha  said that he will never be deviated from his path. His fight will continue to bestow justice to the bereaved family,   till the accused is punished well. He will adjudicate his best to move the court to sentence stern punishment to the accused connived to kill the lady teacher, Mamita Meher.

On his son’s appointment as the Special PP, Mishra said that his son was appointed as the Special PP on his own merit. However, as a Government Counsel, his prime duty is to provide justice to the victim and recommend punishment to culprits.
