Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, issued thunderstorm warning for at least 18 districts including Khordha and Cuttack for today.
Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and Angul.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Nabarangpur.
Such weather condition in these above districts may continue till April 15 (tomorrow) morning, the MeT stated in a bulletin today.
