Nilgiris journalist Loknath Dalei has been beaten and kicked in the leg and admitted to hospital.
The National Human Rights Defender, Mr. Bhajman Bishwal, had complained to the NHRC in New Delhi at Complaint Lodge yesterday and demanded action against the convicted police officers and demanded Rs 50 lakh in compensation from journalist Loknath Dalei.
