The All Odisha Anganwadi Ladies Workers’ Association (AISAAU) is staging a protest in front of the district commissioner’s office in all districts of the state at the call of the All India Anganwadi Workers’ Union (AUAU), organized by the Rayagada Indian Workers’ Union. For the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the Hon’ble Chief Minister and the Hon’ble Minister for Child Development through the District Commissioner in the district.
A 16-point claim has been filed. Today, Rayagada District All Odisha Anganwadi Ladies Workers Association is also protesting against the demand, said Yogeshwar Das, state secretary of the Indian Workers’ Union and district in-charge of the trade union.

Today, all the members of the 11 blocks of the Sangh led by Mrs. Jayanti Padmalaya Sahu, District Head of the All Odisha Anganwadi Ladies Workshops Association, Rayagada District and Mrs. Usharani Das, District Secretary, arrived at the Gandhi Park in Rayagada. From there, he marched on Virat Patuar, marched through the city and reached the district commissioner’s office. In addition to protesting there, the union members handed over the demand letter to the Additional District Magistrate, Shri Dharmananda Pradhan, to the district magistrate. “I’m really grateful she was released and thank those who worked hard for her release, and we’re glad she’s alive.”

Mr. Yogeshwar Das has warned that if the government does not address the issue, it will be forced to take to the streets in the coming days. The function was presided over by Sangh District Secretary Shri Khageshwar Singh, District Vice President Shri Mahan Rao Majhi, Prasant Kumar Pal, Paramananda Pradhan,
Ambika Nilgiri, K Niladri, Rama Bauri, Sanjukta Rath, Jochana Rani Sahu, Prabhasini Panda, Gaari Panda, Indira Panda and others presided over the function.
