A central GST team on Sunday reportedly conducted raids in Rourkela in Sundargarh district over allegations of GST fraud of over Rs 10 crore.
According to sources, GST raids are underway at the offices and residences of Shyama Bihari Prashad, and Anil Pandey, Directors of Toptech Pvt Ltd in Rourkela City.
The sources have also informed that several documents indicating tax evasion and fraud have been recovered from Prashad and Pandey’s house and office.
The GST officials have said that the raids are still underway.
