Raigad-01 / 08- (Dhaneshwar Raut) – State Union Journalist, SUJ Journalist Union Rayagada District Branch President Shiv Narayan Gowda under the patronage of Utkal Diwas today signed a signature drive titled “We are Oriya, our language is Oriya”.
District Magistrate Saroj Kumar Mishra was the chief guest at the function held in front of Mahatma Gandhi Shishu Udyan in Rayagada district headquarters sub-division. “I am just happy to be free.
Also present as distinguished guests were Zilla Parishad Chairman Saraswati Majhi, Additional District Magistrate Somnath Pradhan, Rayagada Mayor P. Mahesh Patnaik, District Information and Public Relations Officer Basant Kumar Pradhan and many other city officials and intellectuals of the city. He wrote a letter on the promotion of the Oriya language in his writings.
