Block level soil fairs, concerns for safety.
Raigad-01 / 08- (Dhaneshwar Raut) – A block level soil fair has been held at Dhamnima in Kalyansinghpur block of Raigad district. It was chaired by District Agriculture Officer Dushasan Prahraj.
Farmers from 245 villages in 14 panchayats of the block joined in and took their stand. The issue’s end has the recaptured Doomsday in the control of the KGB again and again.
Some experts have suggested that farmers may be able to control the soil in their area naturally. The fair was attended by Kalyansinghpur Block 2 newly elected Zilla Parishad B Prasad Rao, Madhav Rao, Dambaru Dhar Kanjka, Deputy Chairman Dambar Kanjka, Budaguda Panchayat Sarpanch Sriram Kadraka, Sikarpai Sarpanch Chaitanya Tiaka, other district and block agriculture officials and more than 200 farmers.
