Rayagada-31/03 – (Dhaneshwar Raut) – A training camp on countering the heat wave has been held in the conference room of the Raigad Rural Development Agency office under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Shri Saroj Kumar Mishra. It was attended by Additional District Magistrate Samonath Pradhan, Project Director, Rural Development Agency Rabinarayan Tripathi, Deputy District Magistrate Pratap Chandra Pradhan, all Assistant District Magistrate Sukant Pradhan and all district level officials and voluntary organizations.
The training program began after the district attorney’s speech. Dr Mamata Chowdhury, a district health officer, spoke on the issue of sunstroke and its awareness. The tehsildar, district health officer, block education officer, project officer took part. District emergency officials discussed the summer heat wave. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was important.
Public health officials discussed the symptoms and treatment of the summer heat wave. During the summer solstice, the group’s education officer discussed the timetable of the lessons and the facilities available to the students of the educational institution. All district officials took part in the talks, which focused on how to make the government a better place and how to cope with the heat wave in Raigad.
