Raigad 30/03- (Dhaneshwar Raut) – The district level Asha, Gaon Kalyan and Mahila Arogya Samiti Annual Conference has been organized in the premises of the District Chief Medical Officer and Public Health Officer. The district commissioner inaugurated the conference by lighting a lamp and lighting a lamp as the chief guest. In the current context of the Abacovid epidemic, the role of hopefuls in delivering home-based health care from inaccessible rural areas to urban areas is crucial. Their role in improving the quality of health care, including providing primary health care to the public, is crucial.

A total of 36 hopefuls from 11 TLBs and two municipal councils in Rayagada district were presented with the best hopefuls’ certificates during the event. Thirteen women health committees, five panchayats and 11 tigram kalyan committees were also awarded.

In 2020, three medical officers, three hopefuls, three multidisciplinary health workers (men) and a group health center were awarded the Best Block in Family Planning and Contraception Prevention in Gannathpur, respectively. Dartikant Sahu will be awarded the Certificate of Excellence for the most ultrasound imaging.

The event will be attended by a large number of hopefuls, as well as staff from the Women’s Welfare Committee, the Women’s Health Committee and the District Health Committee.
