In Rayagada district, district-level anemia-free India trainers have been trained
The district-level anemia-free India teacher training program, which started on March 10 in Raigad district, ended on March 14, 2022. The occasion was graced by District Commissioner Shri Saroj Kumar Mishra, District Chief Medical and Public Health Officer Dr. Lal Mohan Rautarai, Additional District Public Health Officer (Family Welfare).Dr. Mr. Ray, District Public Health Officer Dr. VLN Raju, Mr. R Rajesh Patnaik, District Program Manager and Mr. Bhagwan Meher, Deputy Manager, Maternal and Child Health, were present.The anemia-free India district-level trainer training was conducted in a total of five batches at the DTU Hall of the District Chief Medical and Public Health Officer's Office and the SDAH Gunupur. The training was provided to officials in the areas of health, education, child project development and social welfare. Upon completion of the district level training, participants or trainees will be able to provide anemia-free India at the block level.Attending the Anemia Free India Training Program, District Magistrate Shri Saroj Kumar Mishra instructed the trainees how to raise awareness among the people of the district through this training to reduce the rate of anemia or anemia in the district.On this occasion, the District Chief Medical and Public Health Officer, Dr. Lalmohan Rautarai said the district needed to work out an effective strategy to address public health problems, such as anemia and the risk of death. Reducing the effects of anemia will improve maternal and infant mortality and improve health outcomes for other population groups.
