Nandini Malik of Biju Janata Dal has been elected as the chairperson of Kandhamal district council.
Nandini won by a landslide as a Zilla Parishad member from Zone 15 of Bali Guda block.
Nandini had previously served as sarpanch, committee member, and chairman of the Baliguda block, working hard to strengthen the party's organization.The party nominated him for his merits, efficiency, public relations, social service attitude, and tolerance. On the advice of district BJD leader Tuna Das, the party unanimously nominated Nandini for the betterment of the Kandhamal district's tribal people, who will always look for government benefits, said the newly elected Zilla Parishad chairman.
