Shivram Sahu Memorial Cricket Tournament inaugurated
The first annual Shivram Sahu Memorial Cricket Tournament has been held at Bishipada under Phulbani block of Kandhamal district.It was attended by Block Education Officer Tikabali Jagannath Sahani as the Chief Guest while Jagrat Kandhamal Odisha Social Organization General Secretary and Kandhamal District Host of Hind Mazudur Sabha, Lawyer Satya Narayan Behera as the Guest of Honor. Bisipada Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Sakali Kahar inaugurated the event.Srivasti Shivram Sahu, a teacher at Sridevi High School, has been working tirelessly since the beginning of the school to improve the school with her teaching, to promote the famous Lankapodi pilgrimage, to address social inequalities in the region along with social services.The cricket tournament, which will be held in the presence of the late Shivram Sahu's wife Sudeshna Sahu and his son Chandra Shekhar Sahu, Gyan Shekhar Sahu, Mausumi Sahu and his well-wishers, will last for three days. The event was moderated by Chaturbhuj Behera of Sridevi High School.
