After 5 days, the stock market is up
Tuesday was a day of relief for investors after a five-day decline in the stock market. The market closed on the green signal after the initial decline. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 34 points to close at 57,958. On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange Nifty once again crossed the 14,200 mark. The Nifty index rose 124 points to close at 14.28. Earlier, the stock market opened red for the sixth day in a row. The Sensex opened at 56.83 points, down 407 points. Similarly, the NSE's Nifty Index traded down 162 points at 23,418 points. In the first minute of the market opening, the Sensex fell 1,001 points to 56.4 points.
